Whats Going on in Bristol

The most difficult thing to figure out when you’re thinking of shopping in Bristol is, quite simply, where to start!

If you like indoor shopping, your starting point should be Cabot Circus. With three floors and 200,000 ft² of shopping space, major stores like House of Fraser and a multitude of restaurants and cafes, this recently completed development is perfect for a days shopping in the city. Browse through fashion, home wares, jewellery and appliances, and when you’re done stop off for a coffee at Costa or splash out on a full meal at Frankie and Benny’s. If you don’t want the day to end, the 13 screen Cinema is close at hand.

If outdoor shopping is more your thing, Broadmead is your destination. With other 300 stores, including Debenhams and Marks & Spencer, as well as restaurants and another cinema, your problem will be deciding whether to come for the day or the weekend! The streets have recently been pedestrianised, and you won’t be the only person rifling through the hundreds of stores there. Broadmead regularly attracts hundreds of visitors, and for good reason.

If you want to venture outside of the city centre, the Mall at Cribbs Causeway is an excellent shopping centre, offering more stores and restaurants, as well as a crèche and AccessAbility store, providing services for disabled shoppers. Free use of electronic wheelchairs or scooters opens up the Mall for disabled, or elderly, people and makes it a lot easier to shop.

Whether you’re searching for something in particular, or just browsing for the sake of browsing, Bristol offers you a wide range of shopping choices, if you can decide where to go!

Due to the large number of shopping outlets on Bristol, there are many different types of jobs available, jobs such as: cashier, stock worker, security, waitress, management and many more.
