TCG Plans Major E-Waste Recycling Event for Earth Day

The Northeast’s premier Managed Services Provider – TCG Network Services – has announced a special Earth Day recycling event. It is scheduled for April 22, 2021, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A table will be set up and staffed behind their 24 Superior Drive location in Natick, MA.
According to their website, local companies can drop off up to 10 electronic devices each, including workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and flat screen monitors. Televisions and CRT monitors will not be accepted.
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, all participants must wear masks and maintain safe social distances. TCG has also committed to taking sanitizing precautions throughout the event.
When asked what makes this year’s effort unique, TCG’s Vice President Jeff Fox responded, “A lot of e-waste can be salvaged. With that in mind, we partnered with a local charity, PCForEveryone.org, to restore refurbishable technology and then donate it to needy families in Massachusetts.”
Mr. Fox continued by saying, “Items that can’t be refurbished will be recycled at TCG’s expense. I do want to emphasize that security is our top priority. Data will be completely destroyed before systems are recycled or restored to working condition.”
In addition to PCForEveryone.org, event sponsors include: the Town of Natick’s Sustainability Committee, MetroWest and Corridor Nine Chambers of Commerce, Dell Inc., and the Better Business Bureau.
