Nydia Caraman’s New Book ‘Ground Hog Day’ Brings a Poignant Guide in Raising Special-Needs Children From One Mother’s Firsthand Experience

Nydia Caraman, a writer with a passion for photography and a career as a hairstylist, has completed her new book, “Ground Hog Day”: a moving account about one mother’s journey of raising her own child with special needs.
Nydia writes, “Having a child with any special need can be trying and difficult and completely overwhelming, but then at some point, you realize that these struggles are not always with your child and their disability, it’s with the world we live in. It becomes a cycle that can hit you at any moment, but mostly at night. You lay down, try to relax the day away, and all the day’s efforts hit you along with everything that is going to happen tomorrow and the next day and the next… It’s the ground-hog day that no one talks about—the worries of being a parent of a child that needs more from this world than it can give. Please know that you are not alone in this struggle, this fight for your child’s life and what they deserve. I hope that I can help in some way. I am just a parent like you trying to work through our ground-hog day until one day the world helps us get it right.”
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Nydia Caraman’s new book is a mother’s helping hand to all the other parents out there who are also finding themselves in a similar situation. She wants to share to others the wisdom and knowledge she has embraced that truly helped her in raising her own child.
Readers can purchase “Ground Hog Day” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
