New Subscription Service, Wags & Wine, Debuts With Offer of Hand-Selected Treats for Humans and Canines Alike

A new service, Wags & Wine, has debuted as the first and only monthly subscription box that caters to both humans and dogs.
The company offers monthly boxes containing exclusive, top-rated, small-production wines alongside limited-ingredient dog products.
“We’re connecting with a large market of dog owners who also love wine,” said co-founder Lindsay Levy.
“We know there are other services that either offer wine or dog treats, but nothing together like this. It’s an experience. And while we don’t market ourselves as a discount box, for the value of the products you receive, we’re excited to bring the best of both worlds to our customers,” added co-founder Ryan Levy.
Subscribers can expect new and unique products each month, including two bottles of wine and a variety of healthy treats for their canine friends. The focus for both categories of products is supporting small production, minority-owned, and family-run businesses. The company is also dedicated to providing a refined experience by offering exposure to niche wineries primarily in the California and West Coast regions, with plans to expand to other regions in the future. You can expect wines that retail anywhere between $25 – $50 each for the Premium boxes, and $15 – $30 each for the Classic Boxes.
Founded by Levy and her husband Ryan, the company came together in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Like so many people, we found ourselves rescuing a dog, spending a lot more time inside, and drinking plenty of wine,” said Levy. “We’d have a pile of subscription boxes on our doorstep, and finally came up with the idea about one specifically geared to all the wine and dog enthusiasts out there. The rest is history.”
The company offers a range of subscription options depending on the desire of the consumer:
Premium boxes – Our primary mission box, gives a choice of a blush box, mixed box or red box. Exclusively domestic wines from small wineries, with commitments to sustainable practices and no additives, handpicking the best grapes that go into the wine and the quality is unmatched. This box also includes a selection of two to three clean dog products with limited ingredients and the occasional gift. Retail value, on average, $110-plus.
Classic boxes – Choice of a mixed box or red box. Featuring small/medium-sized wineries, primarily imports, striving to focus on no additives. This box includes one dog product, the same bag of clean dog treats in the Premium box. Retail value, on average, $70-plus.
“We’re thrilled to share our passion for dogs and wine with the world and are so pleased by the warm and enthusiastic response we’ve received from our growing number of subscribers,” said Levy.
