Msgr. Michael Flannery’s New Book ‘The Emerald’ is a Riveting Journey of a Child Who Found a Greatness of a Life Through a Green Sparkling Stone

Msgr. Michael Flannery, a retired priest of the Jackson Diocese, has completed his new book, “The Emerald”: a gripping tale of Adolfo, a young boy who finds a priceless stone while going about his day in the mountain range. As this discovery brings him a good life, he decides to return the goodness to the people.
Flannery writes, “The emerald ranks up there with the four top gems in the world: diamond, ruby, and sapphire. It is alleged that it brings blessings of peace and serenity to its owner.
The book is set in the State of Coahuila, Mexico, where a boy finds an emerald. It is an extraordinary influence in his life. He becomes the only youth in his village in San Pedro to ever go to a university. After graduating in electrical engineering, he wants to do something for his village. With the aid of the governor, he builds a wind turbine in his village, which changes the lives of the people there. Later he is appointed by the governor to spearhead the building of wind turbines in other villages.”
