John Clark’s New Book ‘Jericho’s Adventures in Navajoland’ is Both Entertaining and Educational

Jericho’s Adventures in Navajoland is the beautifully illustrated new book just released by author John Clark.  The Navajo Reservation was John’s childhood home.  As an adult he was hired by the Navajo Nation to serve in cross cultural roles from within the Navajo Government.  With the Jericho’s Adventures in Navajoland series, readers are invited to join Jericho, a happy Navajo boy, as he learns about his family, his homeland and his culture.
Mr. Clark tells the back story:  “I had a friend just like Jericho when I was a boy.  Through play and interaction with his family I learned to love and respect the gentle Navajo ways.  I sincerely hope that you will let Jericho and his family befriend your children, so that they too can learn the Navajo way to walk in beauty.”
Published by Fulton Books, Jericho’s Adventures in Navajoland is entertaining and educational.  Mr. Clark’s love of the Navajo people, their culture and language are inescapable in Jericho’s experiences.  Families are welcome to begin a cross cultural friendship with the Navajo people.  Witness a childhood with little modern technology, exploring the backcountry of America’s largest Indian Reservation.  Understanding Navajo culture is a sure path to loving and respecting Navajo ways.  Who knows, being a virtual visitor here, could motivate one to be an actual visitor to the Navajo Reservation, some day! Please enjoy Jericho’s adventures as he learns to love his family, his homeland and his culture.
