Italian Food Producer, Bona Furtuna, Announces New Flavor Profiles in Olive Oil Category

Award-winning food producer, Bona Furtuna, expands their olive category with six new flavor profiles. This lineup includes a collection of infused olive oils: Basil, Garlic and Chili; a collection of two new limited release olive oils: Passulunara and Grand Cru; a single-estate olive oil: Forte Blend, using the most potent olives on the La Furtuna Estate. 
“We are very excited to offer these one-of-a-kind oils to our customers,” states Margaux Maertens, Marketing Manager at Bona Furtuna. “Each of these oils elevates dishes in their own unique way, speaking to their exclusivity. All of them delicious, of course, but my favorite has to be the Passulunara. Not only because its sweetness perfectly complements my favorite grilled scallop dish but this single varietal is incredibly rare to find and Bona Furtuna has over 200 of these olive trees on the estate. We only get 500 bottles per year!” 
Continues Maertens, “Many of our customers requested that we introduce a variety of infused oils, an idea that we certainly could get on board with. We are thrilled to offer the Tre Amici Infused Olive Oil Collection, using our award-winning Heritage Blend,  infusing with various herbs and spices grown on the La Furtuna Estate.” 
Bona Furtuna’s release of the Grand Cru is one to be highlighted. This ultra premium oil is a blend of the best olives La Furtuna Estate has to offer. The olives to create this product are handpicked and pressed onsite within 24 hours, bottling the freshest flavors.
The newly released 100% organic, single-estate olive oil, Forte Blend, has already won gold at the 2021 EVO IOOC in Italy, alongside Heritage Blend and Biancolilla Centinara. All three olive oils have won multiple gold awards internationally including Olive Japan, Olio Nuovo Days in Paris, and Oil China IOOC.
