Gerald Adams’ New Book, ‘Wormie: Never Give Up’ is a Delightful Tale That Teaches Kids a Positive Lesson on Patience and Perseverance

Gerald Adams, a Native Texan and a successful career man whose main goal is to help children with disabilities, has completed his new book, “Wormie: Never Give Up”: an insightful picture book with a beautiful underlying lesson on achieving one’s goal through hard work. The story presents a young worm whose sole dream was to be able to fly and enjoy the beauty of the world up there. Despite the mockery, this persistent worm did not let other animals falter her determination.

Gerald writes, “There is a young small worm with no parents. Her name is Wormie. She has black, brown, white, yellow, and green stripes. Wormie sees birds and wants to fly. The other animals around where Wormie lives make fun of her for wanting to fly. They talk mean to her and pick on her. This story is about how Wormie Never Gave Up on her dream to fly and how she turned into a beautiful butterfly named Cutie-Fly!”
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Gerald Adams’ new book is an adorable story that shows how there’s a time for everything and hard work definitely pays off in the end. Thus, keep striving and do not let others define what you can or can’t do.
