GeoMark Research Announces Leadership Changes

GeoMark Research today announced that Stephen Brown will step down after nearly 30 years with the company as President and co-founder. The company has selected Ethan Brown to succeed Brown, as President. Brown will continue on with the company in various advisory roles and will join the company’s Board of Directors, effective Jan. 4.

Additionally, Alex Zumberge will be appointed to Executive Vice President, Operations. In this role, Zumberge will have oversight and responsibility for all technical direction of the company, laboratory operations, and final data quality. John Zumberge, former Vice President and co-founder, will continue with the company as a Geochemical Advisor and will join the Board of Directors.
These changes are effective Jan. 4, 2020.
“This change will infuse fresh insight and perspective into the Leadership team at GeoMark, and I am confident that Ethan and Alex will lead the company to even greater levels of success,” said Stephen Brown, former President.
