F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen plans third location in Winter Park

WINTER PARK, Fla. – F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen has been serving up slices and Italian classics and gaining raving fans since it opened its doors in the Hourglass District in 2018. Now, the eatery is serving a new neighborhood—Winter Park.

The F&D family of restaurants today announced they would be opening the third location of the beloved F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen concept at 1965 Aloma Avenue. The concept focuses on high-quality ingredients and scratch-made dishes, offering woodfired pizza, fresh pasta, wine, beer and more.

“We’ve seen F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen become a go-to neighborhood spot in both the Hourglass District and Longwood,” said Charly Robinson, the owner and founder of the F&D family of restaurants. “We’re excited to bring the location to yet another Orlando neighborhood and show people there the food we’re so passionate about.”

Robinson said he anticipates the new eatery will open before the new year.

F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen features a casual yet stylish atmosphere and top-notch service—but the real draw is what comes out of its woodfired oven. All pies start with the restaurant’s “36-hour dough” and feature fresh, natural ingredients. From the classic Margherita to the more adventurous Queen Bee (which includes chili flakes and local honey), the eatery has become a favorite of foodies and families alike.

Pasta dishes feature fresh pasta made by local partner Trevi Pasta. The menu includes classics like Bolognese Lasagna and Cacio e Pepe. There are also entrees like Woodfired Salmon and Veal Marsala, in addition to a wide selection of wine, beer and wine-based cocktails. The menu offers a selection of vegan options.

The new location of F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen will also offer daily specials, carryout deals and weekend brunch.

The concept is one of several F&D restaurants. In addition to the F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen locations in the Hourglass District and in Longwood, the F&D family includes F&D Kitchen and Bar in Lake Mary, which serves a modern twist on American fare, and F&D Cantina in Lake Mary, which serves scratch-made Mexican comfort food.

The restaurants have been thriving, and Robinson said there is potential to further expand. In fact, F&D is expected to open another five restaurants in the next two years, including a location for F&D Cantina.
