Diane Campbell Green’s new book ‘The Sparkling Adventures of Becky and Friends’ is the series of children’s adventures that carry endless learnings and values

Diane Campbell Green, an author who worked in academia for several years on NEH-funded historical editing projects, has completed her new book, “The Sparkling Adventures of Becky and Friends”: an enjoyable narrative set in the 60s that follows a group of friends who set out on adventures of their own. Through mishaps and fun, they experience all that their small town has to offer.
Green writes, “Introducing me, Becky Chalmers. I am eight years old and I live on Cadwallader Court in Yardley, Pennsylvania. It’s the 1960s. Jimmy, Billy, Sharon and I, and a few other friends, travel around Yardley having adventures. We don’t always do the right thing and sometimes we do the exactly wrong thing, but we have some great fun.
The Sparkling Adventures of Becky and Friends is the second book in a series. The first, Santa and the Cotton Tree is a 2020 Royal Dragonfly Award winner.”
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Diane Campbell Green’s new book tells adorable and wholesome stories for kids to enjoy. Set decades ago, these friends discover the bigger world together while never falling short on playtime.
