D’Amore Law Group Offering Free Uber, Lyft, and Cab Rides During New Year’s Eve in Portland, OR

Each new year offers an exciting opportunity for a fresh start and new beginnings, which is probably why we all look forward to New Year’s Eve so much. Regardless of your goals for the coming year or how many New Year’s resolutions you plan on making for 2022, ringing in the start of a new year is a moment to acknowledge. One, to celebrate all of your experiences from 2021 (#pandemiclife); and two, to welcome the new year ahead.
Between the midnight countdowns and New Year’s Eve kisses, sparkling champagne toasts, and delicious food — an average of 384 car crash fatalities occur in the United States, making Jan. 1 the most dangerous day of the year for drivers.
Many of those crashes are alcohol-related, but an influx of fatigued drivers traveling in the dark and early hours of the morning also contribute to the high accident rate on New Year’s Day. Whether you plan on drinking or just need a safe ride home between 5 pm on Dec. 31, 2021, and 10 am on Jan. 1, 2022, D’Amore Law Group is here to help.
At D’Amore Law Group, they are all too familiar with DUI car accidents. In an effort to keep the community safe and discourage their neighbors from drinking and driving, the law firm will offer free rides home during the New Year’s celebration (Dec. 31 and Jan. 1).
Their offer is simple: if you have too much to drink, call an Uber, Lyft, or cab service for a ride home. Once you are safely home, send the law group your receipt, and they will reimburse the cost of your ride. It really is that easy. Make the responsible decision and get rewarded for it.
