Cyber Security Hub Partners with Lookout to Host a Global Virtual Event on Protecting the Modern Endpoint

In June, Lookout released a report which uncovered a 37 percent increase in mobile phishing during the first quarter of 2020, costing as much as $35 million per incident for organizations with 10,000 mobile devices. With the increasing volume, sophistication, and impact of cyberattacks amidst the global pandemic, this virtual summit will offer sessions focusing on securing your organizations and employees no matter where they are working or what device they use to access corporate servers. Led by esteemed mobile security researchers and industry practitioners, sessions include:

– Threat Hunting on the Move: Phishing, Vishing, Smishing, Oh My!
– Zero Trust? Don’t Forget Your Mobile Fleet
– Modern Endpoint Security: Challenges and Opportunities
– Securing Your Remote Workforce

“Our mission is to protect mobile devices that are essential to all we do for work and play,” said Aaron Cockerill, Chief Strategy Officer at Lookout. “We are excited about the opportunity to discuss the key issues that organizations face with the growing use of mobile devices, especially with remote work categorized as the new normal.”

This virtual summit will be held across three time zones (SGT, GMT, and EST), enabling cybersecurity executives globally to participate and learn new strategies for tackling the mobile threat environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in live Q&A with industry experts at the end of each session, network, and chat with one another.

According to Dorene Rettas, Managing Director, Cyber Security Hub, “We are pleased to be working with Lookout on this global event. Together we have built an agenda that serves the needs of our global community of security and IT professionals. With sessions, including Zero Trust? Don’t Forget Your Mobile Fleet, and Security vs. Privacy: Why can’t you have it all?; we will be covering topics that are relevant today as well as those on the horizon.”
