Childcare Software App Platform Kindertales Raises $2 Million in Series B Funding Led by Wasque Capital

Kindertales, a SaaS-based childcare management software company based in McLean, VA, with development offices in Toronto, Canada, announced today a Series B investment of $2.0 million led by Wasque Capital, a North American investment company focused on childcare technology investments in Australia and North America.
Kindertales has offered a web-based management app to preschools and childcare centers in North America since its inception in 2017. Its broad base of functionality enables customers to engage with parents, manage enrollment and process payments while also providing teachers the ability to keep parents engaged in their child’s day with a newsfeed of photos, videos, messages, and milestones.
Following the Company’s $6.5 million Series A funding in early 2020, the Series B funding will be used to expand Kindertales presence in North America and launch into the Australian market.  The opportunity in both markets represents a tremendous amount of upside for a closely held private company like Kindertales.
“As schools and childcare centers start to restore enrollment as Covid restrictions ease, more and more management teams are looking for effective and efficient ways to manage and grow their business and to connect with their parents,” said Steve Schneider, CEO of Kindertales. “The early education and childcare marketplace has great potential for assisting childcare and early education businesses with an end-to-end solution, with payment processing, parent interaction, reporting and much more, all in one integrated platform.”
WASQUE CAPITAL is a private investment firm with significant experience in the childcare and education sector both in the U.S. and Australia.
