Author Karen Jo Young Hermann Cottrell’s New Book, ‘The Skeleton From Generations’, Tells the Captivating, Multigenerational Story of the Mann Family

Karen Jo Young Hermann Cottrell, who was born and raised in Salem, Indiana, has completed her new book “The Skeleton form Generations”: a gripping and potent work that tells the interlocking stories of the generations of the Mann family.
Karen Jo Young Hermann Cottrell, now 81 years old, wrote this book when she was 38 years old. Her son, Jeff, the youngest of five, and his wife, Nina, helped her to bring her story to life.
Karen Jo Young Hermann Cottrell writes, “A forest of trees surrounded the path until Jack Mann came to his cabin. Tying his horse at the barn railing, he later lifted himself inside. He could not fully understand why he came back to live or couldn’t forget the death happening at his young age of twelve that happened there. Jack knew one thing that he never would need to return or live at the orphanage no longer since he became too old to live there.”
Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Karen Jo Young Hermann Cottrell’s compelling tale was inspired by her walks through a graveyard, where she thought about the people who had lived on this earth and wondered whether they had lived lives similar to her own. The book tells of the stories the author imagined for them: their sadness and their happiness.
Readers who wish to experience this original work can purchase “The Skeleton from Generations” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iBooks Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
