Aristotle, the leader in political technology and data, has appointed Andy Elting as director of government affairs consulting as the company expands heading into 2022.
Formerly head of PAC and grassroots programs at Amazon and the American Beverage Association, Elting will assist Aristotle clients as they build and grow their PAC and grassroots programs, while also overseeing get out the vote (GOTV) strategy for clients through the 2022 midterms and beyond.
“We are excited to have Andy back on our team at Aristotle,” says Rob Christ the executive vice president of Professional Services. “Andy brings a wealth of experience, and this will be a great asset to our clients.”
Elting first joined Aristotle in 2006 as an account manager, drawing on his previous campaign and GOTV experience to leverage Aristotle’s unique software and data products on behalf of clients. He then served in a wide range of local, state and federal government affairs roles, including direct oversight of grassroots and PAC programs for trade associations and corporations, over the subsequent decade.
Elting holds a BA in International Relations from Tufts University and a graduate degree in Political Management from The George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management.
