Enjoy a classic Trek Travel picnic spread on the beach before hiking the coastal trails along beautiful Resurrection Bay. After your walk, your guides will fit and dial your bike, then you’ll embark on a quiet ride north, back to the historic fishing port town of Seward, Alaska. Watch fishing charters return from off-shore, catch a whiff of the giant hemlocks and cedars that inhabit the shoreline, and feel the salty air on your skin , Tonight, enjoy dinner together at local favorite spot, downtown’s brand new Seward Brewing Company. Today’s itinerary is guaranteed to capture your memory for years to come. After breakfast head to the harbor to board the ship for a cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park. With so much of the National Park being only accessible by water, the cruise is an amazing way to experience so much of the natural beauty and wildlife that Alaska has to offer. Get up close with tide-water glaciers and maybe even closer with some humpback whales on this unforgettable experience. Once back in Seward, we’ll continue on to our next adventure in Kenai Fjords National Park for an up close and personal visit to the Exit Glacier. Walk the flood plain, hike to a viewpoint looking face-to-face with this ultimate wonder. Feel the cool air, reach out and touch glacially polished stone, dip a foot in the glacial run-off.

Rise early this morning, grab a quick breakfast and head to the harbor for a guided kayak trip through Resurrection Bay. Experience the sounds and sights of this unreal intertidal zone under your own power. Paddle ashore on a remote rocky beach, disembark and stroll through a magical coastal rainforest. Bring your camera and get ready to experience a true microcosm of Alaska: bald eagles perched high in a dead snag, seals rolling through the intertidal zone searching for fish, and potentially even catch the once-in-a-lifetime experience of the summer salmon run. Once back in Seward, we’ll grab a quick lunch and head into our next adventure in Kenai Fjords National Park for an up close and personal visit to the Exit Glacier. This evening, you’ll board the world-famous Glacier Discovery train and steam north on one of the world’s most magical railways for the 3-hour trip through the Chugach National Forest to a true authentic Alaskan ski town: Girdwood. Nestled in a deep valley and on the banks of Glacier Creek, this amazing ski resort town will be your adventure hub for the next two nights. Tonight, settle into your home Alyeska Resort and enjoy one of a number of unique dinner options on your own.

Start off with a leisurely morning ride along the Bird-to-Gird Trail, one of the most breathtaking coastal trails in the US, punctuated with cinematic views of ocean and mountains. Possibly cross paths with a majestic moose, while ospreys and eagles cruise overhead. Ride along Turnagain Arm, through a skeleton spruce and fir forest—thanks to the famous 1964 earthquake which registered a bone-rattling 9.2 magnitude—and keep your eyes peeled for Beluga whales just off-shore. This afternoon, choose your own Alyeska adventure: from short hikes to lift-accessed downhill biking, summer adventures abound right out of the Hotel’s door.
